Hi all, As you may already know, Walter Haensli passed away earlier this year. Walter was an instructor at Whakapapa for 1949 – 51. During his time here is completely upgraded the ski school, ski hire and shop. He then co-founded Ruapehu Alone Lifts and his name lives on at the Haensli Face ski slope …
